STADIUM HISTORY

BMO Field opened in 2007 as the home of Toronto FC (MLS). Expanded in 2015 to 30,000 capacity — the smallest WC2026 venue. Hosts the Canadian Premier League's Toronto matches and Canadian Football League's Toronto Argonauts. Selected for WC2026 group-stage matches including Canada's opener.

Located on Toronto's Exhibition Place lakeside. Toronto Pearson International Airport (YYZ) is 30 minutes by car; Billy Bishop Airport (YTZ) is 10 minutes. June-July Toronto weather: warm and moderate-humidity (23-28°C / 73-82°F).
